In January Tim
Nickless lost his life to hepatitis C and left behind his grieving
family. He was unable to secure their future due to the prolonged
debilitating disease. As a male nurse he dedicated his life to
helping others, and on September 26th, 2008 the community came
forward to help Tim’s family. 
Words are unable to
describe the gratitude we at Mayberry Homes feel in our hearts
towards the people of the mid-Michigan area. When we received the
call from Extreme Makeover Home Edition requesting we build a home
for a deserving family, we had no idea how our own personal lives
would be affected. This has truly been a life changing event. The
greater Lansing area stepped up and gave of their time, their money
and their hearts, truly demonstrating the best of who we are.
